01

One fleet

Do not multiply the physical hashrate.

02

Chain support

Verify the implemented AuxPoW relationship.

03

Separate records

Track each reported asset and conversion.

01

What an AuxPoW panel represents

Auxiliary proof of work is a protocol arrangement for compatible chains, not a universal ability to mine any two coins at once. In the Litecoin and Dogecoin context, Scrypt work can participate in a merged-mining arrangement. Our full article links to Dogecoin’s official mining explanation. Verify the specific pool implementation before assuming a displayed chain is active.

02

Avoid duplicated capacity

Show the physical fleet’s measured work once, then describe the related chain-accounting records separately. A hypothetical 100 GH/s fleet does not acquire another 100 GH/s of equipment because a panel displays two supported chains. Duplicating the capacity total can also distort energy-efficiency calculations and contract comparisons.

03

Trace rewards through settlement

Keep native-asset ledgers for the amounts actually reported by the pool. When a reward is converted into another settlement asset, record a conversion rather than a new independent earning. Distinguish accrued rewards, available balances, and completed payouts. Retain the policy review date so future operators can understand which arrangement applied to the record.

04

Ask what the revenue estimate already includes

A combined Scrypt revenue assumption may already include auxiliary rewards. Adding another estimate on top can double count. For each component, write the source, reporting interval, fee treatment, and settlement basis. Test a scenario with no auxiliary contribution as a sensitivity exercise, not a prediction. Shared hashing work does not guarantee a fixed financial benefit.

CLARITY BEFORE COMMITMENT

Your questions,
answered.

Does using the same algorithm guarantee merged-mining compatibility?

No. Protocol support and the pool’s implemented configuration are also required.

Does MiningPanel.com distribute auxiliary rewards?

No. This site explains the concepts and reporting questions. It does not operate a pool or distribute cryptocurrency.
